How does IPL skin rejuvenation work?

Our Skin Rejuvenation treatments are performed with Intense Pulsed Light (IPL).

IPL facial treatment targets different areas of the skin with specific light wavelengths, gradually bringing to the forefront discolouration issues such as redness from blood vessels and brown pigmentation due to irregular pigment production. These targets absorb the light, heat up and gradually break down to reduce or remove the discolorations. At the same time, the skin absorbs a little of the heat throughout its deeper layers, and this stimulates the production of new collagen in the skin. This produces a rejuvenating effect, plumping and firming the skin and restoring a more youthful appearance.

IPL uses specific wavelengths of light to target different areas of concern within the skin. IPL has the ability to target a range of concerns from discoloration due to excess sun exposure, redness caused by broken blood vessels, unwanted hair, active acne and dull or uneven skin tone.
